The Fifth Installment in the Call of Duty Video game series will be known as Call of Duty : World at War.Returning to the development scenerio this time will be the Treyarch for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360.The Nintedo DS version however will be developed by n-Space.

Activision will be handling the job of publisher and the game will be out world wide in mid November 2008.

The Scene sets in the Pacific theater and Eastern front of World War II for the two campaigns where one features the United States Marine Corps battling the Japanese Raiders and the other is to follow the Soviet Red Army during the end of the war.

Making its return will be the Flamethrower which was last seen in the 1st version of the COD series with new flammable environments.

The multiplayer involves both Local as well as for the first time in the series will will involve Online multiplayer mode even for Nintendo DS.

Kiefer Sutherland the voice of the Sniper in the Phone Booth and Gary Oldman,the Lead of upcoming Christmas Carol will be doing the voice-overs.
