Developed by Harmonix Music Systems, as the sequel to Rock Band and Published by MTV, the EA Distribution will roll out Rock Band 2 on Nov 21st in Europe.This Release will be only on XBOX 360.
The Game is believed to be a direct rival to the Activision Guitar Hero which will be released in Europe by 8th November on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Wii in addition to Xbox360
Lets Hope that the terrible delays which happened with Rock Band 1 does not happens with Rock Band 2

This wednesday All the XBox Live Arcade Subscriber will have a shot to prove themselves better n smarter than a 5th Grader.
The Game will be launched under the supervision of THQ and Blitz Arcade and will be priced @ 15 USD.
The Game will probably help you earn some online credits however failing in the game will be at the cost of your pride as well as the entry fees,
So if you are havnt made it to the TV Show dont feel low you can have a stint @ XLBA

Developed by Sega’s acquired game developer Secret Level, the latest installment of the Golden Axe series known as Golden Axe: Beast Rider is out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 .
The game will feature the return of Tyris Flare, the female amazon warrior from the first installment of the series will make her return to the franchise only this time she will be riding Beasts.
A M Rating has been awarded due to the in game dismemberments, decapitations and nudity.
As Far as the Gameplay is concerned only a Single Player mode is availabe as of now however SEGA’s assures that the follow up to the game will definately feature a co-op mode too.
The Game bagged dismal scores in the begining
A dissappointing 3.2 out of 10 from IGN to start with.IGN even qouted it as “A game worth avoiding” while GamePro called it “poorly designed and “a terrible game that feels like a slap in the face to fans of the original franchise“.It ended up at a decent 6.8 /10 in the TeamXBox Scores.
Good news for SEGA as well as for die hard Golden Axe fans that the game recently got a surprising 9.2 out of 10 from Play Magazine.
Mixed Reactions so far although there are many for reviews yet to come for the game.

Already rated as one of the most addictive game of all time PopCap’s “Peggle” is making its way to Nintendo DS on 3rd March 2009.
The game is about to get released on XBox 360 via XBox Live Arcade this fall.
Unlike all the previous versions of the game which were developed by PopCap Games themselves the New version will be developed by Q Entertainment.
The Game has already proven its point of existence on Windows, Mac OS X, iPod, J2ME, and BREW.
So all you DS fanatics out there Set a reminder of 3rd March 2009 because you cannot miss whats coming your way.

Mark Rein the vice president of Epic games has jettisoned away the news of Unreal Tournament III being Midway’s under performing title and will soon be discontinued.
Rien made it clear to gamespot that they have a publishing agreement with midway and the company is busy expanding UT III these days with will add much more to the customer’s excitement.
Rien however refused to say much about the expansion but has made whether it will be a downloadable content or a brand new product.

Good news for the gamers on the Handheld consoles as they will soon have a voice-activated, real-time strategy game on thier consoles.
The Publisher of the Game has detailed the PSP and DS version of the game and will be released along side with XBox 360 n PS3 release of the game.
The PC version which is also developed by the same developer Ubisoft Shanghai will be rolled out at a later date.
The Game plot sets in the year 2020 which time World War III is ongoing.
The Fictitous World War III Features 3 Factions namely:-
The Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade
The European Federation Enforcers Corps
The United States’ Joint Strike Force

A Huge amount of sales of XBox 360 consoles results in the increase in sales of the XBox consoles by 157% in the past 7 months this year.
The increase in sales has been largely attributed to the titles like Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Discovery.
Although the XBOX 360 shares the smallest part of the all consoles sold in Japan the 157% hike is not a scence setter but a confidence booster for sure.
According to the data provided by Famitsu,the Lifetime sales of the consoles in Japan are
- DS Lite: 17,080,747
- PSP: 10,181,888
- DS: 6,449,206
- Wii: 6,826,612
- PS3: 2,369,484
- Xbox 360: 748,992
It is Expected that XBox 360 will reach the million benchmark before 2008 runs out

Although the Movie directed by John Moore is topping charts in America and has already generated $18 million , 3D Realms CEO Scott Miller does not seems to be pleased with the movie and its storyline.
As per him there are several fundamental story flaws which shows no resemblance with the storyline of the game.
To start with he cited the example of one of Max Payne’s enemies, the drug dealer Jack Lupino, who gets ridiculously killed by one of the film’s non-action characters.
Miller showed displeasure regarding the portrayal of the character of Max Payne’s colleague B.B. Hensley, who ends up betraying him at the end.
Miller also think the Lead character also fell short of live up the standards of the game series.
Moviegoers who are not much into gaming would have got really confused of why max pane is after the Drug mafia as the scene showing the murdering of his family members is shown some half way down the movie as a flashback unlike as seen in the beginning of the game.
The movie flick of Duke Nukem is reportedly said under works.Miller is now worried that what happened with Max Payne doesn’t happens with Duke.

Microsoft has got patented a Audio Data Censoring Technology with their very own XBox Live as its mandatory application.
The Technology was invented by Danieli & Damon V. (Clyde Hill, WA)
With the aid of this technology an input audio data stream under consideration, comprising speech is processed by an automatic censoring filter in either a real-time mode, or a batch mode, which then produces a censored speech which results in undesired words or phrases are either presented to be unintelligible or are inaudible at the other end.
The automatic censoring filter compares the phonemes and/or words derived from phonemes embedded in the application against corresponding phonemes or words which are the undesired part of the speech data. If the probability that a phoneme or word in the input audio data stream matches a corresponding phoneme or word in the undesired speech data or is greater than a probability threshold, the input audio data stream is altered.
So Dont be amused When you say the F-Word and the recipient hears either Hello or a musical note.
