Good news for the gamers on the Handheld consoles as they will soon have a voice-activated, real-time strategy game on thier consoles.

The Publisher of the Game has detailed the PSP and DS version of the game and will be released along side with XBox 360 n PS3 release of the game.

The PC version which is also developed by the same developer Ubisoft Shanghai will be rolled out at a later date.

The Game plot sets in the year 2020 which time World War III is ongoing.

The Fictitous World War III Features 3 Factions namely:-

The Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade

The European Federation Enforcers Corps

The United States’ Joint Strike Force

Well here is what i have found, PSP can be used as a second pc monitor, the idea seems to quite interesting but very impractical but yes it is possible according to Jochen Schleu who created a new homebrew mod named PSPdisp which allows you to use your PSP as a second monitor.The site claim you can get 960×544 worth of screen space on it.

Its true.. the lastest installment in the most popular racing game series aka Need for Speed will be rolled out on November 18th 2008 under the name Need For Speed Undercover.

The Game will be released for wide range of consoles which includes PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Portable, iPod Touch, iPhone and mobile phone.

The Scene sets in a fictional city called the Tri City where the Gamer will  take on a ruthless international crime syndicate   by performing death dealing  tasks  and compete in  dangerous races.

The Players only contact with the Cops is through the Detective Chase Linh who is voiced by the MI-3 star Maggie W.

A wide Range of vehicles to choose from which includes Police Vehicles which can be driven by the Gamer as well.The Gameplay is believed to be somewhat similar to NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted but according to the Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello ” Undercover  will bring better innovations and gameplay” A New mode called the HighWay Battle Mode has also been inluded

The Game is believed to be inspired from the Car Based action movie The Transporter and The Transporter 2.

No one including Electronic Arts have forgotten the dismal performance by the Last game in the Series called the NFS Pro Street and the new game is expected to cover the Target Sales of the Previous version as well.

The Game Focuses on the Historical conquest of South and South East Asia by the European countries namely Britain, France, The Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Spain

The Gamer’s task is to establish a rule over the concerned region which includes profiteering trading and sound management over thing and to defend the land from invasixon by the enemies via naval warfare.After the War the Player can gain control over the enemies fleets and colonies or vice-verca depending upon the outcome of the war.

Around 11 Ships for Trade and War puroses are available in the game which includes the schooner, the sloop, the brigantine, the East Indiaman, the frigate, and the ship of the line

FIFA 09 will be the latest installment in the FIFA Series and will be 16th Release in the Series and as usual it has been developed by EA Canada and will be Published by EA Sports.

The Game will be out on all the Major consoles namely : PC, Mobile, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360.

The Game will be released all over by October 15th while the Demo has been released 5 days back.

Among the Improvement from the previous version it will have a Better Goalkeeper Save n recovery system. User controlled wheather options, Matches can now be played as Day, Night and Day and night, Real life substitution animations It will also Include a 10 on 10 Be A pro Mode with both online and offline gameplays plus of course the user controlled celebrations for the1st time in the FIFA series.

A Huge Add on is a Adidas Live Season which updates the player forms in accordance with the performence in the last match.This option is availabe to PC,Playstation 3 and XBOX360 gamers who need to suscribe for this service which is available for the six leauges Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division.

FIFA 09 Clubs will be introduced in the game which is a online service and where gamers only from Playstatiion 3 and XBox 360 around the globe will join hands in a 10 on 10 be pro mode and will determine which is the best virtual team of the world.

It includes around 30 Leagues and near 500 Teams to play with.15 New stadiums will be included out of which Wembley Stadium and FIWC can be seen in the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 Demos repectively.

The Tenth Installation in the most popular WWE Smackdown video game franchise know as SmackDown Vs RAW 2009 will hit the stores this November.The Game will be out on all the major consoles such as PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Mobile.

But Obvious the Publisher remains the same THQ and the development will be done by Yukes Future Media Creators for all the console version except for DS where it will be handled by the japanese TOSE instead of Amaze Entertainment as seen in the previous version.

The major Add ons in this version are the improved Tag team modes which involves new tagging styles attacks,interference and team moves.

Also for the 1st time featured in a video game will be a Infereno Match where the Ropes will be Set on Fire and the temperature of the ring increases as devastating moves start to take place.Once it reaches 500F the wrestler is likely to catch fire.

Finishing Styles will be Enhanced with the ability to save the Finishing moves for the usage in the later stage and working up with the secondary Finishers.In addition to this there will be a create a finisher mode which includes over 500 animation to get the gamer his/her desired finisher.

The Commentary Team remains the same however more emphasis is laid on play by play commentary.

Online Gaming Features will be available for Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Wii other consoles are deprived of it though.

Announced on 22 August 2007 , Sony is now ready with thier PlayTV which  is a twin-channel DVB-T tuner peripheral along with digital video recorder (DVR) software which lets  the users to watch and record television programmes to the HDD of a PlayStation 3 as well as on a Playstation Portable to view it later on.

Thought the Idea seems to be complex but what the users have to do is simply plug the aerial into the RF jack provided on the PlayTV box, and then connect the device via USB to PS3 or a PSP

The PlayTV is a DVB-T box so it will support all the channels supported by DVB-T,which is popularly known as Freeview.

With This the Gamers will be able to watch other channels while some other channel is in the recording stage.

The same goes with the games as gamers can play thier games simultaneously with TV recordings.

PlayTV can be controlled using the a PlayStation controller or Blu-ray remote control.

As far as the Codecs are concerned PlayTV supports MPEG2 SD and HD, and AVC/MPEG4 formats as well.

Other Features Indcludes Parental Lock,Video Librabry,Scheduled Reordings,Screen Size settings etc.

The PlayTV is less than a Month away to hit the Roads of UK and the rest of the Europe however the it will be available in early next year in other parts of the world.

The Madden NFL 09 is an upcoming release in the Popular game franchise the Madden NFL and will be the 20th installment in the series.As with the Earlier versions the Game is developed by EA Tiburon and will be Published by EA Sports.

The Game will be out by 28th of August on Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 and Xbox consoles however missing in the list will the PC verision this time.

The Version will feature a Virtual Trainer,IQ System,Backtracking and Rewind Modes.

The game this time features the impeccables Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond as the commentators.

In addition to this there will be even better way of broadcasting and presentations.

New Camera Modes have been included which gives the gamers a better gaming experience.

New Sidelines have also being introduced which promises more involvements and emotions.

In the Online Mode the Gamers and either Play an Online League which has been improved over the previous versions, Against each other or can capture and Share the Highlights of Previous Play-offs against each other.

There are Several other Features which includes a better Picture Quality , Better Franchise Modes, Weather specific animations and much more.

With all these Features the XBox Magazine and The Playstation Official Magazine has already given it an applauding scores of 4 off 5 and 9 off 10 respectively
