The Long awaited GTA-IV is finally in the reach of the gamers round the world.
The game brought with itself a patch which can be readily downloaded by the gamers after registering thier copies of the game on the official website.

This although seems a good news but the Patch unforfunately came with sum un intentional bugs which caused issues for the Game controllers for XBOX 360 as well as Microsoft Windows.

The Problem although is not a big fish to takcle but it does hinders the gaming experience.

According to the rumour another patch will be launched in the succession which will eradicate those bugs.

Choice is yours…Either Buy the Game right now or Wait until the Next patch is OUT!!!!…The Game surely Roxks anyway.

Wanted:Weapons of Fate

This one is an upcoming video game  which is being developed by GRIN and will be published by Universal Studios.

The game picks up from where the Angelina Jolie starrer movie “Wanted” left off.

The Game will be out on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 somewhere in the 1st quater of 2009.The game promises to deliver the same off the hook visual style and jaw opening actions as seen earliar in the blockbuster.

The Gamers will take up the Lead role of Wesley or his father Cross and deal with all new enemies which includes the French chapter of the Fraternity who are fanatical about upholding the code of the Loom of Fate

With distictly visible moves such as “Curving Bullets” and “Assassin Time”  which are drawn directly from the film, this game of fates will take its  in depth third-person action combat to the next level .

It now been confirmed by the Rockstar  themselves that they will be employing the use of SecuROM copy-protection DRM in the upcoming PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV.

The Move has been taken in order to combat with the Game piracy and to prevent the loss of millions of dollars by the Company as its devestating result.

The SecuROM with SecuRom in play the users will be required to register thier copy of the game and get an activation.

It was further learnt that the Game DVD is required in the Disc drive all the time while playing the Game.

Limiting the Ristrictions on the users unlimited no of installs has been allowed but on the same computer from where the game was previously registered.

Lets see what SecuRom has in stores for Rockstars and the GTA fans around the Globe

Just a Few weeks before the release of the big thing The Demo of the Tomb Raider Underworld has ben rolled out.

The demo features Lara in the search of Thor’s hammer and . lets you gamers play through the ruins of Thailand.

So just go ahead and download the Demo although do keep in mind that it is actually 1.15 GB

Mark Rein the vice president of Epic games has jettisoned away the news of  Unreal Tournament III being Midway’s under performing title and will soon be discontinued.

Rien made it clear to gamespot that they have a publishing  agreement with midway and the company is busy expanding UT III these days with will add much more to the customer’s excitement.

Rien however refused to say much about the expansion but has made whether it will be a downloadable content or a brand new product.

Good news for the gamers on the Handheld consoles as they will soon have a voice-activated, real-time strategy game on thier consoles.

The Publisher of the Game has detailed the PSP and DS version of the game and will be released along side with XBox 360 n PS3 release of the game.

The PC version which is also developed by the same developer Ubisoft Shanghai will be rolled out at a later date.

The Game plot sets in the year 2020 which time World War III is ongoing.

The Fictitous World War III Features 3 Factions namely:-

The Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade

The European Federation Enforcers Corps

The United States’ Joint Strike Force

Its true.. the lastest installment in the most popular racing game series aka Need for Speed will be rolled out on November 18th 2008 under the name Need For Speed Undercover.

The Game will be released for wide range of consoles which includes PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Portable, iPod Touch, iPhone and mobile phone.

The Scene sets in a fictional city called the Tri City where the Gamer will  take on a ruthless international crime syndicate   by performing death dealing  tasks  and compete in  dangerous races.

The Players only contact with the Cops is through the Detective Chase Linh who is voiced by the MI-3 star Maggie W.

A wide Range of vehicles to choose from which includes Police Vehicles which can be driven by the Gamer as well.The Gameplay is believed to be somewhat similar to NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted but according to the Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello ” Undercover  will bring better innovations and gameplay” A New mode called the HighWay Battle Mode has also been inluded

The Game is believed to be inspired from the Car Based action movie The Transporter and The Transporter 2.

No one including Electronic Arts have forgotten the dismal performance by the Last game in the Series called the NFS Pro Street and the new game is expected to cover the Target Sales of the Previous version as well.

In an announcement made little while ago it was leant that World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King will no  longer be  available on CDs this time unlike for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade previous expantion which was available on both CD and DVD as far as the physical storage device is concerned.

The Publisher Avtivision have strongly ruled out the possibility of Wrath of the Lich King existing on a CD

Its very unfortunate for some as lot of gamers around the globe still havnt employed a DVD drive on thier computers but I guess its time to move on and get a DVD drive as I dont think it will get any cheaper than what it is right now.

The Online Patch download option however still remains available so if you are still strongly against buying a DVD drive be ready to spend load of hours in downloading the patch..cheers

The developers Ubisoft Montreal and the Publishers Ubisoft have confirmed that they will roll out the Latest Installment in the Prince of Persia series somewhere in December 2008 on Microsoft Windows,XBox 360 and Playstation 3.

The Game begins featuring the Prince with a  donkey  and  Treasure earned by him in the previous venture but he soon looses everything in the devastating sandstorm as find himself at a oasis near the tree of life.

It is here he meets the Girl Elika who has a huge role to play in the storyline as shes always up to save the prince and and provides a useful hand in the combats.She will also be a great help when it comes to puzzle solving.

The Gameplay will be somewhat similar to the Sand of Time how ever it is made non linear meaning any part of the environment can be explored by the gamer if he/she wishes to.

Combat will be one on one, 2 on one or at max 3 on one instead of taking on 20 enemies at a time as seen in the Sand of Time.

New Weapons have also been introduced such as the Double edged sword and improved Gauntlet usage.Elika some times can use magic to fray the opponents.

Famous Voice over stars Nolan North and Kari Wahlgren will be doing the Voice overs for the Prince and the Girl .
