Developed by Harmonix Music Systems, as the sequel to Rock Band and Published by MTV, the EA Distribution will roll out Rock Band 2 on Nov 21st in Europe.This Release will be only on XBOX 360.

The Game is believed to be a direct rival to the Activision Guitar Hero which will be released in Europe by 8th November on  PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Wii in addition to Xbox360

Lets Hope that  the terrible delays which happened with Rock Band 1 does not happens with Rock Band 2

Already rated as one of the most addictive game of all time PopCap’s “Peggle” is making its way to Nintendo DS on 3rd March 2009.

The game is about to get released on XBox 360 via XBox Live Arcade this fall.

Unlike all the previous versions of the game which were developed by PopCap Games themselves the New version will be developed by Q Entertainment.

The Game has already proven its point of existence on Windows, Mac OS X, iPod, J2ME, and BREW.

So all you DS fanatics out there Set a reminder of 3rd March 2009 because you cannot miss whats coming your way.

The Remake to the Videogame Flower, Sun, and Rain developed by Goichi Suda for Grasshopper Manufacture. The game was initially released in Japan on the PlayStation 2 system in 2001but later an enhanced remake was out on Nintendo DS in 2008 however in Japanese.

Now via a press release the Publisher Marvelous Entertainment and XSEED have announced that a Remake to the Game for DS consoles will be out in North America in early 2009 however no exact date or period has been disclosed so far.

The Game plot consists of a Searcher Sumio Mondo makes his living by helping out people around him.

He gets an assignment to detect and diffuse a bomb in the Air plane at resort island of Lospas and thus books a room at Flower, Sun, and Rain hotel.

While he was on his way to the airport the people keep coming up with their problems and thus preventing the hero to make the save at the airport.Next morning he wakes up in his hotel room and founds the bomb hasn’t exploded and now he should diffuse it at any cost.However again people still approach him for his help and thus prevent him again to reach the airport on time.

The story repeats again every day.

The objective is to help every one and then detect and defuse the bomb before its too late and our hero gets Insane

Its true.. the lastest installment in the most popular racing game series aka Need for Speed will be rolled out on November 18th 2008 under the name Need For Speed Undercover.

The Game will be released for wide range of consoles which includes PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Portable, iPod Touch, iPhone and mobile phone.

The Scene sets in a fictional city called the Tri City where the Gamer will  take on a ruthless international crime syndicate   by performing death dealing  tasks  and compete in  dangerous races.

The Players only contact with the Cops is through the Detective Chase Linh who is voiced by the MI-3 star Maggie W.

A wide Range of vehicles to choose from which includes Police Vehicles which can be driven by the Gamer as well.The Gameplay is believed to be somewhat similar to NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted but according to the Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello ” Undercover  will bring better innovations and gameplay” A New mode called the HighWay Battle Mode has also been inluded

The Game is believed to be inspired from the Car Based action movie The Transporter and The Transporter 2.

No one including Electronic Arts have forgotten the dismal performance by the Last game in the Series called the NFS Pro Street and the new game is expected to cover the Target Sales of the Previous version as well.

Before this fall Nintendo will roll out its new version of DS called as the DSi which will feature built in Camera and music playback feature.The Camera will be handy in the new games which will feature picture taking and video recording as the major elements.

Nintendo is planning to Launch the thing at a price of 190 USD approx in Japan first before it hits the overseas.

The Fifth Installment in the Call of Duty Video game series will be known as Call of Duty : World at War.Returning to the development scenerio this time will be the Treyarch for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360.The Nintedo DS version however will be developed by n-Space.

Activision will be handling the job of publisher and the game will be out world wide in mid November 2008.

The Scene sets in the Pacific theater and Eastern front of World War II for the two campaigns where one features the United States Marine Corps battling the Japanese Raiders and the other is to follow the Soviet Red Army during the end of the war.

Making its return will be the Flamethrower which was last seen in the 1st version of the COD series with new flammable environments.

The multiplayer involves both Local as well as for the first time in the series will will involve Online multiplayer mode even for Nintendo DS.

Kiefer Sutherland the voice of the Sniper in the Phone Booth and Gary Oldman,the Lead of upcoming Christmas Carol will be doing the voice-overs.

The Japanese Video game Rhythm Heaven Gold or Rhythm Paradise Gold better known as Rhythm Tengoku Gold in JAPAN for the Hand held console Nintendo DS has been ranked as the most selling game there despite of the releases of some big names like Too Human,Afrika ,Spore etc.

It is developed by Nintendo R&D1 and the backbone music is provided Tsunku and his Men.

The Gamer’s task here is to respond to the background music by making the apt beat via a stylus on the touch screen.The Game consists of 10 Stage Sets ,each set consisting of 5 Stages..4 Normal Composure and the 5th being the Remix Stage.Athe End of the Each level grading is done as gold,sliver n redo(which results in redoing the previous level).

More 6 Lacs Copies of the game have already been sold so far in less than two months after it was released on July 31st 2008.

The Game has even beaten Nintendo’s very own Wii Fit and is now looking to Set the Scence in the Rest of the world.

Seeing this Progress one can expect that attempts will be made to shift the release dates in North America and Europe as earlier as possible and the task of translating the game to English (USA and England) and other major languages of Europe will be accelerated.

The Tenth Installation in the most popular WWE Smackdown video game franchise know as SmackDown Vs RAW 2009 will hit the stores this November.The Game will be out on all the major consoles such as PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Mobile.

But Obvious the Publisher remains the same THQ and the development will be done by Yukes Future Media Creators for all the console version except for DS where it will be handled by the japanese TOSE instead of Amaze Entertainment as seen in the previous version.

The major Add ons in this version are the improved Tag team modes which involves new tagging styles attacks,interference and team moves.

Also for the 1st time featured in a video game will be a Infereno Match where the Ropes will be Set on Fire and the temperature of the ring increases as devastating moves start to take place.Once it reaches 500F the wrestler is likely to catch fire.

Finishing Styles will be Enhanced with the ability to save the Finishing moves for the usage in the later stage and working up with the secondary Finishers.In addition to this there will be a create a finisher mode which includes over 500 animation to get the gamer his/her desired finisher.

The Commentary Team remains the same however more emphasis is laid on play by play commentary.

Online Gaming Features will be available for Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Wii other consoles are deprived of it though.

The Madden NFL 09 is an upcoming release in the Popular game franchise the Madden NFL and will be the 20th installment in the series.As with the Earlier versions the Game is developed by EA Tiburon and will be Published by EA Sports.

The Game will be out by 28th of August on Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 and Xbox consoles however missing in the list will the PC verision this time.

The Version will feature a Virtual Trainer,IQ System,Backtracking and Rewind Modes.

The game this time features the impeccables Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond as the commentators.

In addition to this there will be even better way of broadcasting and presentations.

New Camera Modes have been included which gives the gamers a better gaming experience.

New Sidelines have also being introduced which promises more involvements and emotions.

In the Online Mode the Gamers and either Play an Online League which has been improved over the previous versions, Against each other or can capture and Share the Highlights of Previous Play-offs against each other.

There are Several other Features which includes a better Picture Quality , Better Franchise Modes, Weather specific animations and much more.

With all these Features the XBox Magazine and The Playstation Official Magazine has already given it an applauding scores of 4 off 5 and 9 off 10 respectively
