Wanted:Weapons of Fate

This one is an upcoming video game  which is being developed by GRIN and will be published by Universal Studios.

The game picks up from where the Angelina Jolie starrer movie “Wanted” left off.

The Game will be out on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 somewhere in the 1st quater of 2009.The game promises to deliver the same off the hook visual style and jaw opening actions as seen earliar in the blockbuster.

The Gamers will take up the Lead role of Wesley or his father Cross and deal with all new enemies which includes the French chapter of the Fraternity who are fanatical about upholding the code of the Loom of Fate

With distictly visible moves such as “Curving Bullets” and “Assassin Time”  which are drawn directly from the film, this game of fates will take its  in depth third-person action combat to the next level .

The developers Ubisoft Montreal and the Publishers Ubisoft have confirmed that they will roll out the Latest Installment in the Prince of Persia series somewhere in December 2008 on Microsoft Windows,XBox 360 and Playstation 3.

The Game begins featuring the Prince with a  donkey  and  Treasure earned by him in the previous venture but he soon looses everything in the devastating sandstorm as find himself at a oasis near the tree of life.

It is here he meets the Girl Elika who has a huge role to play in the storyline as shes always up to save the prince and and provides a useful hand in the combats.She will also be a great help when it comes to puzzle solving.

The Gameplay will be somewhat similar to the Sand of Time how ever it is made non linear meaning any part of the environment can be explored by the gamer if he/she wishes to.

Combat will be one on one, 2 on one or at max 3 on one instead of taking on 20 enemies at a time as seen in the Sand of Time.

New Weapons have also been introduced such as the Double edged sword and improved Gauntlet usage.Elika some times can use magic to fray the opponents.

Famous Voice over stars Nolan North and Kari Wahlgren will be doing the Voice overs for the Prince and the Girl .

The Next addition in the Batman Video game series will be Batman: Arkham Asylum which is being developed by Rocksteady Studios via Unreal Engine 3 and will be published by Eidos Interactive in association with DC Comics and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.

The Game will be out for XBOX 360,Playstation 3 and Microsoft Windows somewhere in mid 2009.The Gameplay will consists of Two Modes namely the Combat Mode which will be active when nailing down the thugs or taking down the bosses. It will be a Over the Shoulder Third Person Shooter Play.The Detective mode will come in play while decoding puzzles,codes and decision making which will act as a central tool for proceeding the story line.

From Gas Powered Games, the creators of Supreme Commander and Dungeon Siege  now comes the Demigod which is an Action and Roleplaying game for Microsoft Windows.

The Game includes  the elements which are borrowed from both of the above mentioned genres and is a bit inspired by the earlier hit Warcraft III map Defense of the Ancients.

The Player here chooses one or more heroes and the game depends on the power of a single unit or that multiple units

The Publisher Stardocks have announced the Release Dates of Betas and gamma before the release of the Full Fledged Version

The !st Beta will make its way on September 5th, 2008 followed by Beta 2,3 and Gammas in October 2008,December 2008 and January 2009 repectively

Spore will also be available for direct download from Electronic Arts.

Difficulty selector for each stage is also available which allows players to set the difficulty for each part of the game.

By Default the game is set in Easy or Beginner Level.

Spore Bagged the Titles: Best of Show, Best Original Game, Best PC Game, and Best Simulation Game Game Critics Awards at E3 2005 and at the subsequent version of E3 it won Best PC Game, Best Original Game, and Best Simulation.

It also won the GameTrailers E3 2008 Award for Best PC Game. not to mention the E3 2008 Overall Best of Show from GameSpy

GameSpot and IGN have already tagged it with the scores of 8.0 and 8.8 respectively and it has secured more then 80% score everywhere else.

EA is bringing back the Mario Puzo’s mafioso drama with godfather II. This sequel is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms in February of 2009.

According to Hunter Smith, Executive Producer of The Godfather II, the game will have expanded territory to include criminal operations in Cuba, Florida and Godfather mainstay New York City.

This time EA is coming up with a new feature in godfather II by introducing an additional strategy element to the game called “The Don’s View,”. This new enhanced feature will allow the players to build, defend and expand their crime rings, while at the same time keeping an eye on rival families.

Every single member of the family will specialize in a particular act (demolitions, arson, engineering, first-aid etc.) and the player will act as the don of NY, sending these members on specific missions.

The Upcoming music video game called the Rock Revolution being developed by Zoe Mode for XBox 360 and Playstation 3 and by HB Studios for Nintendo DS and Wii.

The Game Publisher Konami announced the Game two months back and is expected to be in the stores by this fall.

The game is the result of an inspirations from other such games in the league such as “Guitar Hero”

The Players will play the music in accordance with the on screen instructions.There will be a Peripheral Guitar and Drum required for the XBox 360 and Playstation 3 Versions while a Traditional Remotes and Nunchuks would do it for Nintendo DS and Wii

The Players can create their own tracks, and also allows them to test the musical instrument of their choice.

The Rock Revolution will contain 40 Songs for XBox 360,Playstion 3 and Wii version and wil contain 20 songs for Nintendo DS verion.

The Collection includes the hits from Metallica , Korn ,Scorpions , Finger Eleven and many more.

Initially Named as Cricket Life 2007 Cricket-based real-life sports/strategy/simulation Game developed by Canadian Team called Gamebience a PC-based sports/strategy real-life simulation game which lets you live the life of a cricket player ,as it allows users to play through the life and career of an existing player or even create a new player. It allows the users to grab hold all major aspects of a career player.

This Game is the first of its kind as apart from the Features provided by every other cricket game around this game lets you have a control over the personal life of your chosen/created player as well.

In the Game money can be earned by signing club deals, sponsorship contracts and advertisements, TV shows, modeling assignments and other icing on cake stuffs apart from the regular income made by playing cricket matches. The money earned can further be invested in stocks, business partnerships etc while the player continues to play on-field.

The Objective of the game is to become the best player around the globe by setting up records & milestones as well has being financially sound.

As far as endorsing the game is concerned Gambience has chosen the Autrailian Batting Maestro Mike Hussy.. also known as Mr. Cricket in modern day cricket to help the cause.

Gamebience has recommended the system requirements of over 1.8 GHz/1 GB RAM/256 MB video card system requirements for the game on their website this is due to the heavy game content with over 8-GB of data in 2 DVDs.

Initially Gamebience announced that the game will be available in all major cricket playing nations by 2nd Half, 2007.However for further carrying out further improvements in the product the release dates were delayed indefinitely meaning that the name of the game is to be changed to Cricket Life 08 once it crosses 2007. In the Early Quarters of May the Official Website of Gambience promised to update the release information in coming weeks, However more than a month has passed but still no signs of updates can be seen on their website. Lets Just hope they should not find a need to change the title of the game again.
